We are pleased to introduce to you: The Kevin Costner Suicide Pact.
End Weekend is the first installment of hopefully many self-released works done by the Citizens. As of right now, we consider the KCSP to be a creative outlet for members with too much time and a few good ideas. Expect to hear more in the future (maybe live, who knows). Download it for free (or pay if you feel the need to) on our downloads page.
Much love and thanks for listening.

Good news (Cigarette Juice!), we finished recording all of the tracks for our upcoming album! It was a long process, but it's finally done and we're ready to move on to the next phase. We'll be going through a mixing/mastering period with it for a while. Keep an eye out for the release of songs and (hopefully in the near future) the entire album. Thanks to everyone who's supported us, come to a show, downloaded our EPs, donated, bought a shirt, got drunk with us, or just said a few kind words. Thank you.
Stay posted and stay cool.

If you haven't been keeping up with us recently, we're almost done recording what will soon be our next album. We've been spending countless hours recording, re-recording, rewriting, overdubbing, drinking, more recording, listening and more re-recording. We only expect to spend the next few days in studio and have only a few tracks left to record. It's been an amazing process and we wouldn't have asked for a better set-up. Thanks to our buddy Timmy for putting up with our ridiculousness. There's no way we could have done this without him.
Looking forward to sharing this with all of you!

Well, we've been avoiding it like the plague... or crabs... or taking out not-so-smelly trash... whatever you will. Here's an update.
We're taking some time to work on new material. There will be a few shows here and there, but for the most part, we're going to take our time to write and hopefully record what will become our first full length. The Citizens are more in number now. We keep snowballing in size. Expect to see some new faces the next time we're around.
We will try to keep you posted as the writing/recording process unfolds. Thanks for sticking with us thusfar. We hope you enjoy hearing what develops out of all of this. We have. Stay awhile... things are getting interesting.

Today, we take off for a trip that we're hoping will change us. We're only playing a handful of dates in two bordering states, but for most of us, it's the first time we've ever taken our own work on the road. We might like to think that we've come as far as we have (in the year and a half or less that we've been going) on our own, and that is nowhere near true. We've had so much help along the way from some pretty amazing people. This is a huge step for us and we wouldn't be able to make it happen unless we had all the support from our friends, family, love interests, acquaintances and so on. Thanks for letting us borrow your stuff. Thanks for bringing your friends to a show. Thanks for downloading our music from our site and others.
We want you to be involved in the joy that we're experiencing. If you want to help out, let us know. Fellow Citizens is about more than just a band. I don't think any of us would be enjoying ourselves nearly as much if we couldn't include the people we love.
Here goes nothing.
