and it was AmAZiNGgGgGgGgG!!! Â Who knew our bassist was such an awesome playwright and that Peter had such white legs?! I mean, really! I cannot get over these two facts. But such is the case, and i am glad (i think) to now know them.
But, seriously, Fugue was witty, entertaining, funny, and full of twists and turns through time and space. The acting was amazing (despite the blinding legs) and the writing and directing were impressive. If you didn’t go see it, you missed out BIG TIME!
But perhaps, someday you will be able to see it again. In all its glory. In New York. Or Chicago. Or a Shakespeare Festival. Or maybe they filmed it today, cause they really should have. did you guys film it??!!?!?

My dear friend Sandra was celebrating her 28th birthday last nite, so after rehearsal, Amy, Peter and I went to get a few drinks with her and some mutual friends. After an enthralling jam band reggae extravaganza, we decided that we would go salsa dancing. Clearly, the females all agreed that it was an excellent idea…Peter, however, was a bit harder to convince. He kept saying things like “I really can’t dance” and “I swear I’m going to pull a muscle if you make me salsa”.
But we didn’t believe him. And that’s where things went horribly, horribly wrong.
It only took Peter a beer and a bourbon (not exactly a cheap date, but hey, I’ve had worse) to work up the courage to step out onto the dance floor. None of us could have been prepared for what happened next.
Suddenly, Peter seemed to think he was some sort of latin god. He was shaking his butt like an epileptic and speaking Spanish at the level of a 2nd grade boy with ADHD. It was horrible. And he wouldn’t stop. The dance floor cleared because of how obnoxious he was being. Peter, however, seemed to think that the crowd was impressed with his moves…so he danced harder. And stronger. And faster. Oh, and twice as bad.
Then, everyone started asking me and my friends if he was with us. We didn’t know what to do so we just said “we met him like, 5 minutes ago. He’s a total freak though right?” That seemed to help our situation.
Long story short, Sandra’s birthday night was ruined because of Peter’s latin outburst. I mean, I still like him and everything…but that was ridiculous.

Soooooo………yeah. We stayed up all night mastering two brand new songs. It isn’t a secret anymore. Holden Caulfield Makes a Phone Call to Jane and Give Em All You Got have been posted on both the MySpace and the homepage, so if you haven’t already taken a listen, please do so.
I suppose now would be the appropriate time to announce the upcoming release of our second EP. It is to be entitled Rocket Pack EP and will be released within the next couple of weeks. Please keep checking in so that you don’t miss that exciting day!

On other fronts, I am at work. Again. And I’m hungry. My tummy is rumbly. I’m very bored and I have way too much stuff that I should be doing.

We really are huge fans of this band and it’s honestly the closest fitting show we will have played to this point. So if you can come, please please please please do. Make every effort you can…please.

We had a show at the Mercury Cafe last nite. We didn't really start until after 12:30 so it was a pretty rough nite, but we had fun. We got some great footage of the show that Curtface is going to start making into a music video of some sorts...

One final piece of official Cellow Fitizens news is the show that was just recently b00ked at the B-Side Lounge here in our hometown, Boulder. This is a big show for us too. We are very excited to be playing with our six degrees of Kevin Bacon band, the Apple Miner Colony.
